At the meeting in Chuncheon, the party said it would create a “blue wind across the nation” as it moved to appeal to local voters. The party highlighted that this was its first meeting after naming former lawmaker Woo Sang-ho as its first nomination figure, and that Gangwon was chosen as the site of the first session. During the meeting, the party pledged support for Gangwon’s development and asked voters for backing. On the 12th, the Democratic Party plans to visit Chungcheong and Honam to further consolidate support.
