Lee Seung-hwan Appeals Against Gumi Mayor Over Canceled Concert Case

Singer Lee Seung-hwan has filed an appeal against Gumi Mayor Kim Jang-ho in connection with a damages lawsuit over the cancellation of his Gumi concert. Lee had indicated he could accept the first-trial ruling if a public apology was made, but he chose to appeal after no apology came from the mayor’s side. The legal dispute over the canceled Gumi performance will now move to a second-trial review. Lee also made clear his position by referring to the use of taxpayer money during the appeal process.
