Hyundai Motor’s Yangjae-dong headquarters has been transformed into a “Physical AI building” after a two-year renewal, where robots carry out everyday tasks. Inside the building, the robot “Dali” waters flowerpots, while the quadruped robot “Spot” patrols various areas. The setup was presented as Hyundai Motor’s experiment in combining robots and artificial intelligence within an office space. At a town hall meeting, Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Chung Euisun said innovation comes when employees enjoy their workplace, and also expressed his intent to introduce the humanoid robot “Atlas” quickly.
