The Barom Scholarship Foundation, chaired by Yoon Kyung-eun, will hold an academic conference and book concert at 2 p.m. on May 15, Teachers’ Day, on the sixth floor of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History. The event marks the publication of a biography of Ko Hwang-kyung. It is designed to assess the achievements of Ko, a female educator who devoted her life to women’s education, including the founding of Seoul Women’s University.
