Police Search Samlip Sihwa Plant After Workers’ Finger Amputation Accident

Gyeonggi Siheung Police began a compulsory investigation on May 12 by conducting a search and seizure at Samlip’s Sihwa plant in Siheung. The probe concerns an accident last month at the Sihwa plant of Samlip, an affiliate of Sangmidang Holdings, formerly SPC Group, in which two workers suffered finger amputations. Police are proceeding with investigative steps to review the circumstances of the accident and related materials.
