Korea’s Development Model Draws Focus as Education and Tech Innovation Lead

World Bank Planet Vice President Guangzhe Chen said on May 8 in Sejong that education and technological innovation are the key elements of Korea’s growth model that developing countries can study. He said Korea’s development experience offers implications for emerging economies. Chen also noted that high oil prices caused by the war in the Middle East are a burden for oil-importing countries, but they could also accelerate the energy transition needed for decarbonization.
