South Korea’s Ministry of Justice has repatriated from Thailand a senior accomplice in an overseas hacking crime group accused of causing damage worth about 38 billion won by targeting financial accounts and virtual asset accounts of well-known entertainers, major conglomerate chairmen and venture company heads. According to the original report, BTS member Jungkook was also mentioned among the targets. The group allegedly focused on financial and crypto accounts, leading to large-scale losses.
