KOSPO closes KRW 1.2tn US power refinancing, saving KRW 42.3bn a year

Korea Southern Power said it has completed KRW 1.2 trillion in refinancing related to its US energy infrastructure co-investment, reducing annual financing costs in the US power market by KRW 42.3 billion. The case was shared at a K-finance US investment cooperation meeting, with domestic financial firms including KB and Woori also taking part. KOSPO recorded the highest leverage in the US Northeast and Midwest power markets and succeeded in the refinancing.
