Choo Mi-ae Puts 30-Minute Metro Commute at Center of Gyeonggi Transport Pledge

Choo Mi-ae, the Democratic Party candidate for Gyeonggi governor, presented a “30-minute commute transformation for the metropolitan area” as her core transport pledge on the 11th at the plaza in front of Dongtan Station GTX-A. The announcement placed the issue of reducing commute times for Gyeonggi and wider capital-area residents at the center of her transport agenda. Choo referred to GTX, the metropolitan express railway, as a key pillar of the transport improvement plan. By choosing the Dongtan Station GTX-A site for the announcement, she highlighted wide-area rail links as a major basis for Gyeonggi transport policy.
