Incheon Ganghwa Wife Gets 7 Years Again in Husband Mutilation Case

A woman in her 50s who stabbed her husband dozens of times with a weapon and cut a sensitive body part at a cafe on Ganghwa Island in Incheon was again sentenced to prison on appeal. The court upheld the first-trial sentence of seven years in prison. The crime was reported to have occurred after she suspected her husband of infidelity. A son-in-law who took part in the crime received a reduced sentence on appeal after some mitigating circumstances were recognized.
